ABOUT ME

My name is Anastasiia Lialina. I am of Russsian and Romanian origin. Currently, I am pursuing a bachelor degree in design at Academie Minerva in Groningen, Netherlands. I am a third-year product design student.

I enjoy working in different mediums as it allows me to have a broader perspective on my works and apply knowledge from one sphere in another. I graduated from Pimurzina's Art School in Perm, where I studied academic drawing, painting, and history of art. Furthermore, I completed two courses at St. Petersburg Ceramics Academy as well as a course at St.Petersburg School of Academic Photography.

In the first year of studying at the university, I studied spatial, graphic, and time-based design, as well as illustration and animation. Studying at Academie Minerva also gave me an opportunity to work with and get in-depth knowledge about wood, metal, plastic, ceramics, wool, and 3D printing. Materials and their properties are an important inspiration source for me.

I am proficient with different design softwares: Cinema 4D, Vectorworks, Rhino, Fusion 360, SketchUp, V-Ray, Blender, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.

My projects are driven by my curiosity, constantly wanting to know how things work. I am not afraid of trying new things, as I can quickly grasp new knowledge and apply it.
